TCS uses Adwords and places ads on sites such as CNN

Tata Consuntancy Services (TCS) is probably the oldest and meanest of Indian IT Companies. It is also the most innovative in the way it markets itself (from Low Cost to use of Google Adwords). It has been more then once, that I was presented an Advt about TCS on various websites such as CNN. Have a look.

Google Adwords is not something uncommon to use, but to see a company such as TCS using it to get leads is an indication of how pervasive they would like to become.
