As per Associated Press, Time Warner will split AOL. What does it mean for the industry which is already hot with Microsoft's plans of acquiring Yahoo? Well, AOL becomes a low hanging fruit. Now, AOL has several businesses. Some of those business make plenty of sense:
- AOL's Portal, email, AIM, ICQ , Xdrive- can be acquired by Microsoft or Google either.
- WinAmp MP3 Player - Can be acquired by Google
- AOL's Dial up Internet - can be acquired by AT&T
Watch out for more action in this front.
