Leadership without Borders
Leadership Without Borders is a book written by Ed Cohen. Ed Cohen moved from USA to India to head Satyam's School of Leadership. It would be interesting read to know how companies are developing leadership accross geographies. Aparently, book is written in collaboration with Satyam. If anyone has more details, do post them here.

Most Profitable Indian IT ADR

If we are to compare Wipro, Satyam, Infosys and Cognizant using google finance's share movement history with respect to ADR:
It would say most profitable company was Cognizant:
Here is how they are ranked:
- Cognizant - CTSH
- Satyam - SAY
- Infosys - Infy
- Wipro - WIT
Infosys and Wipro are almost hand in hand in terms of ROI. Have a look.
Satyam and IBM
There has been some nice rumour going on:
The rumour still continues.
- 16 January 2006: Financial Times reported that IBM plans to aquire a stake in Satyam.
- 18 January 2006: Satyam denied if such a talk ever happened.
- One of the Senior Vice President and a director of Satyam decided to resign around this period, and finally quit in October. There is a horde of people who are leaving along with that guy (why would they leave and why should he take them along is a mystery to me!!!).
Steve Hamm writes from World Econonic Forum Blog
While the India Economic Summit has been going on, the Indian tech industry has been swept by another wave of takeover rumors. The word is that IBM is about to buy Satyam, India’s fourth-largest IT services outfit.
The rumour still continues.

Rumour Mill at Satyam
Rumour Mill thru Satyam friends tells me that some big guys (probably following steps of G. B. Prabhat) have started moving out. Does not surprise me. But can not understand how would it help? I mean if same group of people at Satyam could not do achieve much, how would they achieve that in another outfit? Only way it helps anyone is, any shake up would allow people to grow and take up posts being vacated.

Last Working Day
Today is my last working day for Satyam. To be exact, it has been 1549 calender days. Almost 4 Years, 2 Months, and 26 days.
It also has been exactly 3.1 project old.
- Thai Mobile
- GE Plastics/Advanced Materials - B2B
- GE Energy/Infrastructure - webMethods Architecture
For all of these projects, I was the second choice (for some reason the first choice did not work out, or had to be replaced).
There was one more project that I was part of, for a while:
- Saint Gobain Abrasives (.1 bit)
I also contributed to webMethods Operations for GE Energy between GE Plastics and Architecture started off.
